At WeWard, we have always been dedicated to promoting strong values: health, sustainable mobility, and environmental impact.Today, we are proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey—achieving B Corp™ certification, an international recognition that celebrates businesses making a positive social and environmental impact!
B Corp™ certification is much more than a label. It involves a rigorous evaluation of a company’s responsible practices. More precisely, businesses must meet strict standards in five important areas: how they govern, treat their employees, impact their community, care for the environment, and serve their customers.
With a score of 83.1 points (80 points are required to obtain certification), WeWard joins a select group of certified French companies committed to tackling the challenges of sustainable development.
Today, B Corp™ brings together over 9,300 businesses of all sizes and sectors across 100 countries, including more than 500 in France. This growing community of companies shares a commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable economy by meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
Since its launch in 2019, the WeWard team has encouraged millions of users to prioritize walking—a simple yet powerful way to combat sedentary lifestyles and reduce CO₂ emissions. According to the WHO, 81% of adolescents and 31% of adults do not get enough physical activity. By increasing users’ walking time by 25%, the app has already helped save more than 600,000 tons of CO₂.
Every step taken with WeWard not only contributes to users’ physical and mental health but also plays a part in building a greener future.
This recognition reflects our commitment to measuring, improving, and transparently communicating the impact of our actions. At WeWard, we don’t just set goals—we deliver on them with tangible actions validated through independent audits.
Every employee takes part in collective decision-making, benefits from an internal training program, and has career advancement discussions each year. WeWard also stands out for its practices in promoting inclusion, diversity, and gender parity in recruitment.
