WeWard has always been committed to helping women

On the 8th of March this year,  international women's rights day, WeWard is showing its commitment by coming back to the numerous associative projects that have been financed thanks to users' donations and walking, in order to support women.

25 million wards raised for women's rights!

Over the past year, we've been able to collaborate with eleven associations fighting for women's rights. From Ana Bella and UN Women France to Think Pink, our WeWarders have collected nearly 25 million wards in this sector since March 1, 2023!

Access to women's health is our priority!

In Belgium, one in eight women have breast cancer and over 60,000 in France. To address this alarming figure, WeWard has partnered with Think Pink for over 3 years.

In concrete terms, what were your donations used for?

Through regular campaigns and throughout the month of Pink October every year, we were able to provide people with breast cancer with hundreds of boxes of help and advice! We also collaborated with the Antoine Lacassagne Center (Cancer Center of Nice of the Unicancer network) to let 100 women  join a research project that will benefit all those suffering from breast cancer.

They testify:

We've set ourselves the goal of saving 10,000 women from cardiovascular disease by 2025. Thanks to the Heart Bus from the Endowment Fund "Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes" (Act for Women's Hearts), a nationwide screening operation, health professionals welcome women in order to put them back into a structured cardio-gynecological care pathway.

Stop violence against women in the world

One of WeWard's pressing focuses is to enable women around the world to live in safety.

But how can we be part of the impact?

We've partnered with many associations in Europe to fight against violence against women and help them find housing, including UN Women France and Care. Thanks to your generosity and the steps you've taken, 330 Haitian women have been sheltered from violence following the destruction of their homes after the earthquake that hit the country on August 14th. With Care, we promote gender equity and equality, women's empowerment and their effective participation in decision-making at all levels of the development process in the nation of Togo.
