We are excited to share our recent partnership with Enfants du Désert, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children living in remote and desert regions, primarily in Morocco.
This year, the local Mohamed IV College, in the city of Boudnib, welcomed a brand new library, thanks to the collaborative efforts of WeWard and Enfants du Désert.
In Morocco, students begin learning scientific subjects in French starting from their first year of college, after receiving primary education in Arabic. This transition can be challenging, and students often need support to adapt to the new language.
So, the library in Mohamed IV College will play a crucial role in helping students master the French language, ensuring a smoother integration into college life and a more comfortable academic journey.
Additionally, the library offers a plethora of books in Arabic, French, and English, sourced from a reputable bookstore in Fez. These books encompass a variety of genres like novels, providing students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of literature throughout the year.
WeWard users played a pivotal role in turning this ambitious project into a reality. It was through these contributions with Enfants du Désert that we were able to finance the construction of this remarkable library. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the generous donors of Wards who made this library and the support for college students possible.
We are delighted to announce a new campaign with Enfants du Désert that will support their project in combating menstrual poverty. To learn more and be a part of this inspiring initiative, click the link below.
