In his new interview series, Wardy had the opportunity to converse with a new key member of the WeWard team. Today's conversation introduces us to Surya, an already well-established Back End Engineer at WeWard. Surya provides us with an overview of her role within the company, as well as her personal vision of the importance of walking in our society.

2023 marked a turning point for WeWard! 2023 marked a turning point for WeWard. Thanks to the evolution of our team and the significant worldwide expansion of the app, we have seen remarkable growth and a deep commitment to the 3 things we care about: the environment, health and energising cities. Our app, which now has over 20 million users, has encouraged a more active lifestyle, leading to a 25% increase in average walking time.

WeWarders walk less during cold periods: myth or reality?

The year 2024 was inaugurated in France by a strong cold wave... And Wardy noticed an impact on the walking time of its inhabitants! Our latest study reveals how the walking time of users has been altered during this period.

WeWard was present at the inauguration of the new Belambo school!

In 2023, WeWard more than ever continued its commitment to solidarity. Our team took part in the reconstruction of Belambo School, which had been severely damaged by the cyclone season in Madagascar. One of our team members even visited the site during the inauguration!

WeWard Stands with Syria and Turkey: A Compassionate Response to Crisis

In light of the devastating dual earthquakes in Syria and Turkey on February 6th, WeWard promptly collaborated with ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) to support the impacted Syrian and Turkish communities. The result? 500 essential food baskets reaching 2,500 residents.
