Global Walk Cup 2024

ARTICLE 1
WeWard is organizing an event resulting in a competition through a mobile application open from July, 26 (here after referred to as "the Game"). The Game is organized by WEWARD SAS (hereafter referred to as "the Organizer"). This game aims to encourage users to put more value into walking and optimize their well-being. These rules define the terms and conditions applicable to this Game (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”).

ARTICLE 2 - ACCESS TO THE GAME
The Game is free and without any obligation to make a purchase. The Game is open to any natural person aged eighteen (18) years minimum, or acting under the responsibility of the holder(s) of parental authority" to be able to continue and access their personal page. and located in one of the 29 countries where WeWard is present (having access to the Internet, an email address and a personal account on the Partner's mobile application), excluding permanent or occasional collaborators of the Organizer, and in general any person who participated directly or indirectly in the design, implementation and management of the Game as well as their direct family living under the same roof (spouses, ascendants, descendants). Any participation by a minor will be carried out under the full responsibility of the holder(s) of parental authority. The Organizer reserves the right to request written justification or proof at any time, especially when awarding prizes. The Organizer may decide to disqualify any minor who is unable to provide this proof within the set time limit.

ARTICLE 3 - DURATION OF THE GAME
The Game is open on July 26th from 00:01 to August 11th 23:59.

ARTICLE 4 - OPERATIONS OF THE GAME
The participants have to register to the Game from their application via the window "championship," by clicking on the "Participate" button in compliance with the regulations read and approved and then joining the team of their choice. The user can choose from a total of 209 teams. To be eligible, your team must have at least 300 members. The user must then validate their steps (by pressing the "validate my steps" button on the main page of the application) during the operation period. These steps will be counted in the score of the selected team.

ARTICLE 5 - CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
All persons participating in The Game respecting the conditions of participation defined in the present Rules are individually referred to as "the Participant" or "the Participants." To participate in the Game, one has to follow the process indicated in article 4 of the Rules; if the Participant did not previously have an account on the mobile application, they need to, prior to creating one:
- Download the application on Apple Store or Google Play
- Indicate their e-mail address or by connecting via their account on Google or Apple
- In certain cases, the affiliate Partner will send an e-mail containing a link where the Participant should click on "CONNECT"
- Check at minimum the box stating "I accept the general conditions of use and I confirm that I am older than (15) years old" to be able to continue and proceed to their personal page.
Each Participant must then register for the Game as described in article 4 of these rules. The Partner reserves the right to cancel a Participant's participation, at their sole discretion, in case of fraud or any other legitimate reason such as incorrect information from the Participant rendering the delivery of the donation impossible. The Participant will then be informed of the refusal. Any other form of participation on the mobile application mobile is excluded. The act of participating in the Game on the mobile application of the Partner is considered accepting the present Rules.

ARTICLE 6 - DESIGNATION OF WINNERS AND REWARDS GIVEN IN GAME
The top 3 teams in the ranking (based on the daily average of steps) will be awarded:
- 1st place: 20 Wards per participant + a donation of 15,000 euros to a charity chosen by the participants.
- 2nd place: 10 Wards per participant.
- 3rd place: 5 Wards per participant.

Based on the total number of steps accumulated by all participants (visible on the championship Stats tab), WeWard also implements a reward system for all participants:
- For 100 billion accumulated steps: 1 free joker + 1 lottery ticket per participant.
- For 200 billion accumulated steps: 2 free jokers + 2 lottery tickets per participant.
- For 300 billion accumulated steps: 3 free jokers + 3 lottery tickets per participant.For users who have referred 3 or more friends during the championship period:2 iPhone 15s to be won.
The winners of the Game will not be entitled to claim a different gift from the one they were awarded. The reward shall be accepted as advertised. Furthermore, the reward cannot in any case be the object of any challenge or dispute on the part of the winners, nor exchanged for other goods or services, a reimbursement or any other compensation of any kind (noteably in cash).

Prizes will be awarded after the end of the championship (from Monday, August 12, 2024, and within fifteen business days):
- Wards and Jokers will be automatically credited to the WeWard user's account, and they will be notified via a notification of the receipt of their prize.
- Lottery tickets awarded for the number of steps reached will be valid for the September lottery. Participants will be automatically registered and informed by email of the confirmation of registration and, if applicable, their prize. Winners will be announced on the gift page after the draw.
- The choice of charity will be made according to the list of associations attached to these regulations.
- The special lottery for referrers will be organized within two weeks after the end of the championship, and the winners of the iPhones will be contacted by email. 2 winners will be drawn to win one iPhone 15 each. Only users who have referred more than 3 new users will be considered.

ARTICLE 7 - PERSONNAL DATA
The participants are informed via the General Conditions of Use and the Confidentiality Policy of the application of personal data received and their purpose. Certain personal data will be used for participation in The Game, verifying the winners and allocating winnings/prizes in accordance with the present Rules. The personal data may be transmitted by the Winners to the Organizer with sole purpose of the allocating the winnings/prizes.Conforming to the Data Protection and Liberties Act of January 6, 1978 as amended and to the Règlement Général sur la Protection des données / RGPD (General Regulations for Data Protection), regarding rectification, opposition, erasure, limitation or portability, the Participants can address their question, accompanied by a proof of identity to:

ARTICLE 8 - LIABILITY
WeWard cannot be held responsible in the event of non-delivery or late delivery of the e-mail due to an erroneous or incomplete mention of the address provided by the Winner when creating their personal account or when contacting the Organizer.

ARTICLE 9 - ACCEPTING, MODIFICATION AND ACCESS TO THE RULES
Participation in The Game indicates the Participants accepting these rules in their entirety and without reservation. Anyone violating one or more articles of these rules will lose the possibility of participating in The Game but also lose any rewards or endowments which, if necessary, should be allocated to them.The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, report, prolong, shorten, or modify partially or totally the Game if the circumstances deem it necessary, without having to justify this decision and without their liability being able to be affected in any way.Any change affecting the present Rules or the operations of the Game will be subject to an amendment. The present Rules are available and able to be downloaded, free of charge, on the mobile application of the Partner.

ARTICLE 10 - LITIGATION
The present Rules are regulated by French law. Any dispute or complaint relating to the game, for any reason whatsoever, must be made in writing to the e-mail address contact@wewardapp.com and sent to the Partner within one (1) month after the closing date of the Game (date of sending of the e-mail being authentic). No telephone requests or complaints regarding the application or interpretation of these Rules will be answered.Any dispute arising during the Game and which cannot be settled in an amicable manner shall be submitted to the Tribunal Judiciaire de Paris (Paris Judicial Court)
